Good morning, campers!
Kimm's recent share about her weight loss has prompted me to do the same. I've lost another 5 pounds since the beginning of Jan and am finally down to my target weight! And I wasn't even dieting and never felt hungry!! It's all due to Heather's diet, but with NO sweets!
So my waistline has reappeared! Haven't seen it in years! And I'm wearing my skinny jeans today, too!!
(The first 10 pounds I lost over a period of one year by counting calories every single day. I got a little program for my Palm Pilot.)

CONGRATULATIONS! Now you're inspiring ME. No sugar, eh? Oh, I just KNOW I'm on the right path NOW!
And your waistline came back? Oh, YEAH!
I just finished lunch and I gotta admit I was still hungry and thinking about those RKTs that hubby put down the garbage .... ... it's a good thing he did, because I'd have had one! -- That is, until I just now read your post. NO SUGAR! That's the trick. Oh, I am SOOO not hungry for those RKTs anymore!
THANK YOU for posting this -- what an inspiration!
I SOOO hope Ruchie is reading this ...

Laura, I wanted to ask. When you say you were following Heather's diet, do you mean the food lists, or the actual 7 day diet that is at the end of the IBS recipe book? Just curious. I want to be like you and Kim....I want to lose 10lbs! That would be awesome. Also, did you say you were also on WW on one of the boards??
thanks!! Happy

Hi, Happy!
I meant the food lists and overall approach, not the menus at the back. I have a lot of food allergies and intolerances so those menus don't really work for me.
I used the soluble fiber list to choose the basis of each meal, then added on SAFE fruits and veggies and small portions of chicken or fish, with everything prepared with very little fat.
But everybody's different, so this approach may or may not work the best for you. The trick is to find an approach that you can stick with, that's low enough calories and that makes you full enough and satisfied enough that you don't cheat.
Good luck, and let us all know how you do.
