Could I be allergic to rice milk?

I've tried rice milk twice now--Rice Dream Vanilla--and I've gotten bumps each time on my right arm. could I be allergic to the oliec safflower oil? What exactly is this oil? I've never had problems with canola oil, veg. oil, or any other oil that I know of (in terms of allergies--my tummy is a different story). The other ingredients in the rice milk all seem to be familair ingredients that I don't have a problem with. I don't have any real food allergies that I know of--I am allergic to some medications though. Any ideas? I'm going to look into other rice milks and see if they also have the same ingredients--I don't want to give up! Thanks for listening everyone and for all your imput!

Before you give up on Rice Dream, try the original instead of vanilla. Rice Dream makes the best rice milk available, IMO.

Maybe try almond milk and see if you get a reaction.
