Hey,

I recently purchased the fiber and the peppermint caps... I am pretty sure that when I take it it seems to upset my GI tract as opposed to making it better. It seems that it is giving me gas... Any chance this is coincedence or just something else? I only take it once every day or two...and not a very large dose at all.. I think one or two teaspoonfuls. Is it just that I have to get used to it? Or does this happen with some people?
Thanks!

Hey there...

Personally I've found that I have to take a fibre supplement everyday in order for my body to become accustomed to it and not give me problems. If you're only taking it every couple of days then it may be possible that when you miss those few days your body gives you those "getting adjusted" pains and gases that you might get when you first start taking a supplement....only with you it's every time you take it cuz there's that space of a couple days in between.

Am I making any sense at all?? haha...

Hi - it's a better idea to take a lower dose more regularly to get your body adjusted. See the "Acacia dosages" sticky post at the top of this board for details.
