Yeah, that sounds bad. Was it chalky!?
Did you consider a fruit smoothie, or do you object because of the calories? There are tons of low-cal smoothie recipes all over the world... there's gotta be something you'd like. I swear there's NO WAY I could taste that powder in my smoothie!
I mix misc. fruit in mine with about 5-6 ice cubes and blend the heck out of it. I toss in soy milk, but you could skip it if you're concerned about calories. I've also used soy yogurt before. I usually use 2 bananas and some pineapple (I like the ZING it gives the smoothie!) and other fruit: pears, peaches, strawberries, cantalope... whatever is on hand. Note: on the boards the advice is to skip rasp- and blackberries 'cause of the seeds. Lots of people like blueberries....
I recommend adding the powder after you've blended everything, or it will stick to the bottom and sides and you won't get any!
I throw my acaica in, too.

Yes, It was chalky and nasty!!!!!!!! I am very concerned about calories, I'm excercising and trying to lose a few lbs. What kind of smothy are you talking about, I've been to the stores and I can't find any with soy, and I didn't think IBS was suppose to have dairy, except soy. I guess I'm confused! I'm not opposed to Low fat soy.

Let me clarify what I have babbled about. Sometimes I think people can read my minds and am shocked and confused when they can't!
Here's my breakfast every morning: Get out blender toss in 5-6 ice cubes toss in 2 bananas toss in misc. other fruit toss in about 1/2 cup soy milk Blend 'til a milkshake-y consistency Add 1/3 cup 100% Soy Protein Booster powder Add 1 tsp acacia Blend some more (or stir, but I'm lazy!)
That's it. That's my smoothie! It's not from a mix or anything--- just from my fridge.
Did that clear it up, or am I still not answering your question???

Hope you didn't take offense to the "Ew!" I surely didn't mean it. I, too, was looking for what to throw the powder in and came close to doing that. I've learned by your experience! (I DO put my acacia in the tea, though)
I really didn't mean the "EW!" to be insulting....
