How long will the 2 chex snack recipes keep? Would it be possible to make a whole lot and then keep them in zippable plastic bags? Also, I have wondered if anyone has tried using Cajun seasoning with the snacks. I tried to put some on but it falls off. Maybe I could look for some Veggie Parmesan cheese instead. -- Also are there are any type of Chinese noodle sticks that you could snack on? I know some are not good for IBS. Maybe some are. -- I have another suggestion for traveling - take a small ice chest/cooler and get some cans of cranberry juice or lemonade. Just make sure the drinks are ok with your system. I discovered white cranberry juice on a vacation a few years ago. I really like it. Whatever you do, don't take nuts or popcorn for a snack!!!!!

Quakes (apple cinnamon flavor--caramel is also good but has a tiny bit of milk)
Rold Gold Honey Wheat Braided Twists (as long as you can tolerate a little bit of whole wheat flour)
Cocoa Puffs, dry
No Pudge Brownies! (prepared)
Sliced banana sprinkled with sugar and covered with soy or rice milk (oops, that's not portable! )
Silk and Whole Soy soy yogurts
Mori Mate pudding mixes (prepared and stored in an airtight container)
GenSoy apple cinnamon soy crisps
I'm sure more will come to me eventually!

I haven't tried the potato chips yet but did try the baked tortilla chips. Great to have no grease but did you notice how much salt vs the other kind?

Ooh, that reminds me... I also love Baked Ruffles. They're even crunchier than regular Baked Lays!

The BAKED Lays have 150mg sodium or 6% RDA per serving. It's easy for me to overlook sodium because I have low blood pressure and can never get enough salt; so I rarely pay attention to that matter. In fact, I have to take salt supplements daily. Didn't mean to lead you astray.
