I am trying to get my 8 glasses of water a day, but sometimes I fall short. I do drink about 3 large mugs of peppermint tea (with benefiber). Does unsweetened herbal tea count towards water, or does the benefiber make it a food?

Let's say that it does. I think it does. I know stuff like coffee and pop doesn't. But if herbal tea doesn't count we'd all be running to the bathroom for another reason!!!!!

Yep, it counts! As long as there's no caffeine or alcohol or anything else that would dehydrate you, the teas (and other liquids) definitely count as water.
