Does anyone else have trouble with tomatoes? It doesn't seem to matter if there stewed, pureed, cooked, or raw, they just give me D. I did a test and waited until I was totally stable and had one little piece of tomato (no seeds) on a sandwich. No go. Then I waited again and tried a little bit of tomato sauce with LOTS of pasta. Still had an attack. This is just so sad since I love tomatoes and they are in so many soups and pasta sauces, not to mention pizza--I can't even indulge in pizza with soy cheese I'm not allergic, I don't think, just can't tolerate 'em. Do I have any hope of eating tomatoes again?

Try tomato paste. Like on a pizza. That's safest for me. Always add a bit of sugar - apparently it reduces the acidity. I find sauces hard but as long as it's mostly paste and puree, I can handle it.
