I was diagnosed with IBS 12 months ago and are finding it hard to get it under control. I have read heathers book "first year with IBS".. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreicated.

Have you check out break the cycle yet?

Thanks for the input, I have only recently joined the IBS board so I am still trying to find my way around.

The main problem I am having is the acute pain in down the right and left hand sides of my lower abdomin which brings attackes where I can't be to far away from a toilet.

I have been diary intolerant for 5 years now, which seems to be helping....
