Hi,

I'm about to embark on a 2-month trip in areas where I'm a bit worried about the food--but also want to fully enjoy trying new things. I'm going to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Italy, and Greece. I intend to pack very light, but have some basic medications and my fiber supplements.

Does anyone have any tips on traveling to these areas while on the IBS diet? I'm not sure what supplements are available in these areas (e.g. Is Citrucel or Fibercon available) and what types of food to look out for, either to avoid or seek out.

Any tips would be helpful. Thanks much!

I would eat mostly rice and pasta and take a full two month supply of fiber with you. Also watch out for raw foods and unbottled water that might you dysentery on top of your IBS.

Sounds like a great trip! Enjoy!
