Laura Thank you so much for visiting my website! I hope
you go back and check out the rest.
I think there are several things on there you will
relate to.

As far as the ham goes, although I haven't eaten
any ham for years I'm going to try it in small
amounts. I need to try some new things. I'm at
that point now. The other day I had C very bad
for a few days and so I'm thinking it's time
to add some insoluble fiber to my diet in
small amounts and I need to test and see what
I can eat.

I've been wondering for a while if pork was considered red meat, but was afraid to ask. I eat it (usually in small amounts) and it's never bothered me. I thought maybe that meant it was okay. Isn't it "the other white meat"??

I've always considered it "the other white meat".
I have a lean pork chop about once a month and
as long as I don't cook it in any grease it doesn't
bother me. I just eat soluble fiber like a potatoe
with it and always applesause because I love to
have applesauce with my pork chop.

Same here, Val. I eat small amounts of thinly sliced ham in sandwiches and once in a while I have pork chops that have been thoroughly de-fatted, and neither have ever bothered me. This may sound blasphemous, but I agree that the fat content seems to be most important to me.

Say, Kree, was there any pork in that mushroom soup you had last night that made you so sick, perchance? Hmmmmmmmm???

Where's that food diary?

No, there was no pork in the mushroom soup! I knew I shouldn't have mentioned my occassional cheating, lol. I honestly haven't had any pork in weeks!

BTW, I have an intolerance to mushrooms. My theory is sunspots...NO, just kidding!

My theory is really that I have a confirmed allergies to mold and mildew which I think may create an intolerance to anything in the fungus family.

Hey, if we get caught cheating, it's only fair that you do as well.

Hey, when I was younger I had an allergy test, and I'm pretty sure I was allergic to molds and mildews too. That's an interesting thought, Laura. Very interesting...

Or maybe it is sunspots!
