Quick question.. I just started the pepp. capsules a week ago, taking one a day. Yesterday I took 2 (i will be traveling to Mexico later today and am starting to get stressed!) and I felt really bloated a few hours after I took the 2nd capsule. The only thing I did different was eat more soluble fiber in preparation for my trip. Any suggestions? I would like to take at least 2 capsules while on my trip and want to know if they could be the cause.
Also.. any quick tips about surviving a plane ride? Sometimes i get a little nauseas. HOpefully you can answer my questions before I leave. Thanks

Hope you're still around. Not sure about peppermint, but upping your soluble fibre intake could definitely give you bloating.
Re. nausea. Ginger is GOD! Try nibbling on GingerNut biscuits. Or anything gingery. Not good if you get reflux tho. Sip water ALL the time. And eat bland food (crackers, dry bread, etc). You can also get homeopathic remedies for nausea. I use Cocculus for flying.

Thanks for the advice.. I've never heard of the biscuits though. Anything else safe that has ginger in it? I plan on stopping at the grocery store before I leave.

Traditional Medicinals makes a Ginger Aid tea that "promotes healthy digestive function." It's "powerfully pungent, spicy and sweet." I like it. You can get it in the grocery store; I got it at Safeway. Easy to toss in your suitcase.
Have a great trip!

Do you have Ginger Altoids in Seattle, Heather? I can't seem to find them in Chicago, and I work for the company that does their advertising!
Crystalized ginger is also great. Most good grocery stores have it somewhere - there's one brand that has nice little tins in the baking aisle. I just eat it straight - yum!
