Hi again! Just thought of another question. I was taking a fiber supplement (Fiber Choice) but I stopped because it was making me bloated. My challenge now is to find something to help w/ the constipation. I never was regular, but it has gotten worse since I was diagnosed w/ IBS a few months ago. I tried prunes which didn't help much, laxatives make we even more bloated, & prune juice also doesn't help. Any suggestions? By the way, Heather, the rosemary lemon fish was delicious! I had to use oranges because I didn't have any fresh lemons on hand, & I had only tilapia. All in all, it was very good. Even my kids liked it!

Check here http://www.helpforibs.com/supplements/sol_fiber1.asp for a run down on soluble fiber supplements varieties. You'll likely need a higher end of the dose range for constipation - that's okay, just get up there gradually.

So glad you liked the fish! I love that one too. Great idea with the oranges - why not? Would probably be good with limes too.

Thank you, Heather. I'm learning as I go. Yesterday I treated myself to a gluten free oatmeal cookie from Panera, but later I realized it had chocolate chips in it. Right away I knew I shouldn't have eaten it. Chocolate is another food that will be hard to give up.

as they tend to be higher in fat, might have dairy, etc. in places it wouldn't necessarily normally be. Breads and baked goods can be especially weird that way.
Best, H
