Is this Organic Safe bread to eat??

I found this bread and was wondering if it was safe! It is organic, vegan, and free of perservatives and HFCS!
Rudis organic bakery bread: Country Morning White Ingredients: Organic Unbleached Wheat Flour, Water, Evaporated Cane Juice, Organic Oat Fiber, Organic Vital Wheat Gluten, Organic Potato Flour, Organic High Oleic Sunflower/Organic Safflower Oil, Sea Salt, Cultured Wheat Flour, Yeast, Organic Oat Flour, Vinegar, Ascorbic Acid, Natural Enzymes. What about this one? It is also free or HFCS and preservatives! I know that french and sourdough are safe, but I was wondering if the ones I listed are also safe? They are good quality, organic, vegan and also HFCS and preservative free. Would they be safe to eat since they don't contain any triggers?

What you need with this diet is the breads suggested in the books you can use as a soluble base for all your meals. You don't want your bread to fill you up too much in total fiber before you've had a chance to eat the rest of your meal, hence eating too much all at once and triggering spasms due to too large of a meal. Keep it simple, because the bread is very foundational to the diet and for testing out sensitivities in your case.

So I should avoid the bread I listed? What about after I figure out my sensitivities, would it be safe then?

It doesn't make any difference if it is organic or not organic. Wheat bread contains a carbohydrate called a fructan - a high FODMAP - proven to be a potential IBS trigger. Kate ate Scarlata - a dietitian with IBS - has written an excellent overview article on the FODMAP diet

That's interesting. I have read about the low fodmap diet and I know wheat is a IBS trigger, but since Heather says white wheat is safe b/c of the soluble fiber and many people on this forum do well with it, I wanted to try it out. Do you think it is safe or should I avoid it completely?

I use the Monash phone app to guide me on the low FODMAP diet. They measure the average amount of FODMAPs from each of the FODMAP groups. The amount is serving size dependent. So if they say 1 slice of white wheat bread is low FODMAP I would have one slice.
