I was recently diagnosed with IBS and eat bars called Nugo Dark bars which are Gluten Free and Vegan protein bars. I was wondering if they are safe to eat for IBS. Here are the ingredients:
Dark Chocolate (unsweetened chocolate, cane sugar, cocoa butter), Non-GMO Soy Crisp (non-GMO soy protein isolate, tapioca starch, non-GMO soy lecithin and salt), Chocolate Rice Crisp (rice flour, cane sugar, alkalized cocoa, salt, soy lecithin, cocoa, soybean oil), Tapioca Syrup, Agave Syrup, Rice Bran, Soy Lecithin, Gum Acacia, Natural Flavor.

What does the label say for total calories, and then calories from fat?
Ingredients look okay but solid chocolate is very high fat.
Agave is also high fructose, but not sure how much is in there. It's not high on the list of ingredients.

So this is 25% of calories from fat. That's okay - would be nice if even lower. I wouldn't go much over that if you're eating these on an empty stomach.
Best, H
