do you use a butter that is fodmap safe and IBS safe? i'm assuming it cannot contain soy, which could be a problem. Also, do you do any cheese substitutes or yogurt substites?

What is the one area of fodmap you aren't sensitive too? Just curious. Would love to see what you eat everyday...but maybe I can dig through all your old replies to find that. I'm sure you've been asked that before.

My diet is much more restrictive and simply FODMAPs. I eat very low insoluble fiber, no dairy or dairy substitutes, few veggies and fruits. Had I known about dietary approaches to managing IBS 20-30 years ago I am sure I won't be eating so restricted today.

I can handle a fair amount of fructans found in wheat and rye.

you think if you had started out today, you would be eating more foods listed as okay than you do now? It's not too late to start eating them now!
