Ive been taking Heathers Tummy fiber for a year. About 7 teaspoons spaced throughout the day for "rapid transit" IBS. It was the first product that ever REALLY worked and allowed me to other healthy things I normally would have passed on.

Unfortunately as of a week ago, I seem to have devolped a sensitivity to acacia. Through a process of elimintaion I was able to determine that almost immediately after taking the acacia powder in water, i would start to cramp up. As an example upon waking on a empty stomach I would take 1 TSP and almost immediately feel the cramping pain kicking in. With doses as low as 1/2 TSP I still feel the sypmtoms and they last for about 2-3 hours. Anyway I figured I would give the fiber a break for a week or two and then start back real slow -- and only twice a day and not 7 times a day like I have been doing. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem with acacia and what the best solution might be? Thanks for any help -- I really dont want to think about having to live without this fiber in my diet/life.

Jeff
