I'm treating my ibs using Heather's Tummy fiber and following her diet. My ibs was getting better but I was still feeling lots of pain in my upper abdomen. I had a scope done and was told I have an duodenum ulcer and a hiatus -hernia. I was doing research and found out white flour, bread, rice etc can irritate my hernia. I eat those products because of the soluable fiber. So the food that helps my ibs inflames my hernia. What do you reccommend? There is a fine dance I need to do to get better.

I also have that issue and wish I knew a good answer to give you although I certainly do understand your frustration.
