I have been using these gummy vitamins thinking they were safe. I asked before and they are generally safe for IBS, but could they be a problem on the FODMAP diet?
Heres the ingredients:
glucosesyrup, sucrose, gelatin, natural flavors, citric acid, lactic acid, fractionated coconut oil, carot and blueberry juice, annato extract for color, and beeswax.
Each gummy has a total of 1.5 grams of sugar . They are not very high in vitamin C only 25% ( I know that can cause cramping). I have been eating these daily and Im wondering if they are causing me some trouble.
I have been having sloshy sounds in my stomach that sounds like I am having trouble absorbing food and water. Could this possibly be the vitamins not being absorbed? I know you need adequate fat and water in your diet to absorb vitamins which is quite possible I dont get. Thanks for any help:)

The ingredients seem okay. Generally speaking vitamins are easily absorbed. You can get more vitamin C by drinking pulp free grapefruit juice.

A sounds in the stomach/intesting are not indicative of poor absorption of food and it isn't an unusual occurence. If you had trouble absorbing water which is a serious condition you will have may other symptoms too. Such sounds are usually made by air pockets and fluid moving through your intestine.
