I am fairly new to all of this. I was diagnosed last summer, and found Heather's site about 6 weeks ago. I have been reading the book - First Year - and have the recipe book - and have also been doing the hypnosis program. My symptoms are definately better - I am starting to feel like I do have control. Although, I do still have some issues.

Right now however, I am a little confused about whole grains. I have some frozen dinners and pasta in my cupboard that are made with 'whole grain pasta'.... is this going to be a trigger?? Thank you for any help!

If the ingredients specify "whole grain" and it's wheat, then it would have wheat bran in there, which is high in insoluble fiber.

The caveat is that for things like pasta, the grain is so finely ground into flour that the insoluble fiber can be pretty tolerable. But, whole wheat tends to be one of the most difficult whole grains so for some folks it's still not safe.

I'd say give the dinners a try once you're feeling stable, and see how you do. If you're at all touchy, stick to regular pasta which is not whole grain/whole wheat, as that will have little to no insoluble fiber.
