In Heather's book, she says when going to a Chinese Restaraunt Moo Shu food should be safe.

Yet I have found it to cause bloating and irritation.
Has anybody else?
Any possible reasons?

Further, what foods at Chinese Restaraunts would be safe?

You will have to ask them to use as little oil as possible, and make sure you're getting the shrimp or veggie version so there is no meat in there. Don't trust the chicken version - it will have lots of skin and dark meat. This would hold true for anything you order at Chinese restaurants.

Might also be the MSG, so see if you can find a restaurant that doesn't use that or make a special request.

Typically things that are steamed are safe, but again, always ask that they use little or no oil. Get a big bowl of white rice for your soluble fiber.

Best,
H
