Curious what people here make of him. Its certainly a hopeful and positive outlook for his IBS patients.
I've been hesitant to go to the doctor for my IBS (which has stabilized with calcium supplements) but listening to him makes me think i could benefit from a doctor's visit.

Huh, this is funny. I just came back to the boards today after a hiatus of several months to describe my experience with almost the exact steps described here, but I have not seen this until now. Treating the bacterial overgrowth and avoiding the foods I'm to which I'm sensitive have made me feel much better. So, maybe not so crazy after all...

Not everyone with IBS has sibo and sibo is also a consequence of other problems. They tried to say sibo was the "cause" of IBS but that hasn't panned out at all. What they have found is some people with IBS also have sibo and IBS.
You should watch this much more accurate.
