Just curious if anyone else on here has GERD and has been successful using the peppermint capsules. I tried them years ago but they did aggravate the GERD. However, I don't think I took them per Heather's stringent guidelines.
I would like to give them another try, but don't want to waste pills (and money). So if you have GERD please let me know if 1) you were able to find a way to take them without aggravating it, and 2) if the benefit was worth it. Thank you!

I've already done that, that's why I'm thinking of trying them again. I'm looking for some input from those with first hand experience with GERD and peppermint. Often theory and real-life experience are different things.

If taken regularly it may help with pain and bloating for those with with non-serious constipation or diarrhea. It likely won't help with the C. I use them from time to time for pain with moderate results. It might be worth a try but don't expect magic results. It is only another IBS management tool - it isn't the final answer.
