Has anyone tried his plan?? I just spent a hour reading his article(sorry, not good with computers and don't know how to post the link) It was very interesting. But he claims he can "cure" anyones IBS-I of the mind set, if it sounds to good to be true than it probably is?!
Just wanted to see if anyone else has read his theories and what you think?

I too would like to know if anyone has tried his program. I'm reluctant to be treated over the internet, but much of what he says sounds persuasive and seems to make sense.

I am going to start his program next week when I receive the supplements. Have you downloaded the document he offers on the website? It's free. I don't know if this will work, but I'm open to trying. I promised him I would keep this board and another one I'm on apprised of my progress. In one way it's similar to the Eating for IBS diet, as you are on a strict no dairy diet. The probiotics and enzymes are the added touch that I haven't been able to figure out on my own, so we'll just have to see what happens.

I was curious so I looked up the website. To be honest, I'm really weary about taking any sort of suppliments (besides fiber suppliments) so I'm curious as to if anyone else has heard of this. Also, have you heard about this Heather?

I believe Dr Dalhman who is a chiropracter is not medically certified to treat gastro problems over the internet.
You also cannot cure something you don't know the cause of?
I believe what he is doing is wrong!
I am not the only one who believes this either.

Yes, I've read through his site, and seen his numerous argumentative posts on other IBS internet message boards. Some of what he says is common sense (avoid dairy, find out if you have a gluten intolerance, probiotics can be helpful). Much of what he says is not (IBS is bacterial in nature, he guarantees he has cured - permanently cured - every IBS patient he's ever seen). I'm not sure that what he proposes is particularly harmful, but neither do I believe that taking his supplements and talking to him on the phone will cure a gut motility disorder that is pretty well-established to stem from the enteric nervous system, and the way that system interacts with the brain. There's nothing bacterial in nature about this dysfunction, and there's no way to cure a nervous system disorder through probiotics and such.
That's my two cents. ![](/messageboards/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif)

I think Shells and I addressed this issue to someone else when asked.
You couldn't have put it better!!!!!
I don't trust a person like this...................it almost seem like he is a "get rich quick" artist who has taken some info from here and there and made it his own. From what I understand, a bacterial disorder of the gut is almost impossible to positively detect, so he's on safe ground using this as the culprit.
