substitute for evaporated skim milk??

want to make ibs safe. looks as if I need to cut or elminate some veggies and use 1 can cream corn..not exaclty sure,make my total veggies besides the corn equal 1 cup? then use more meat?

obviously turkey hamburger,4 egg whites..can soy cheese go in the crockpot,if so when would I add? it says tomato juice how much do u think I would use? 3 hours on high would cook the meat too?

I always brown my turkey before putting it in the crockpot.

my dad shut off the crockpot at 2am a nd it wasn't done yet then it sat there for 7 hours before I got up and turend it back one,should I throw it away or cook it real good on high? turkey wasn't browned first does this mean it won't cook?

Throw it away. I know - it isn't cheap, but I wouldn't take a chance on that even if I didn't have IBS!

ok that seafood chowder recipe was really delicious I really adjusted and substituted things and it still was.

lol I realized how dumb my question was I was thinking in my head how much it sucked to buy all that and throw it out,my mom told me u are supposed to cook the meat before u put it in the crockpot and I didn't know that lol..it turned out really yummy this time,even though it kind of looked like vomit it tasted great. great with fries or baked chips

What did you sub for the evaporated milk? Just the name of the recipe sounds yummy to me.

there was no milk in that didn't I post the link to cheeseburger casserole? ,the evaporated milk was listed in the seafood chowder and you use soy or rice with about a tablespoon or so of corn starch. here's the recipe..I used olreida instant potatoes,so good,in the frozen section at wal mart http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe/crock-pot-cheeseburger-casserole-381252
