If they are was hoping to take to work with me...ibs so bad today and I refuse to take tylenol or cold medicine in fear of anything upsetting my ibs more.
is ground ginger in hot water safe? is there any IF in the ground ginger? I wanted to make tea because it said it was good for cold. Ginger Tea:
1 cup of water 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
or should I use regular gingertoot and put a chunk in hot water?

I don't know about Ricola. Perhaps look for a drop that contains menthol but no hfcs, fructose or artifical sweetners. By the way - tylenol with no other cold ingredients is not likely to bother IBS.
Have fun at work

Active Ingredients: Each drop contains: Menthol (4.8 mg - Cough Suppressant)
Inactive Ingredients: Caramel Color, Extract of Ricola's Herb Mixture (Elder, Horehound, Hyssop, Lemon Balm, Linden Flowers, Mallow, Peppermint, Sage, Thyme, Wild Thyme), Peppermint Oil, Starch Syrup, Sugar
hope someone responds fast,my dad will be at wal mart in like 15 mins.
What does heather say about tylenol? just to be safe I think I'll avoid it.

They look fairly safe. You will have to give them a try.
Good luck

I prefer to make ginger tea out of a peeled chunk of ginger boiled in water for a minute and steeped for a long time. then drink and add more water to the ginger chunk.
I use ricola all the time.
