I tried the bulls eye bbq that contains no hfcs now just about the size of a dime on some chicken for lunch and then for super I had some fire raosted tomatos (just 1/2 can in a recipe) well yesterday I had a bad case of c and then when that was over I had horiible gas pains and cramps all day long. Couln't eat it was horrible gas -x did nothing. I was sick. Felling somewhat better today the gas is still there just not as bad. I hate trying new things becasue of this is what happens. But get sick of the old as well. I just hate IBS and wish we were all normal! Thanks for listening!

I would think it is the tomatoes. Didn't you say you had hard times with tomatoes? Once cooked, they are very acidicy, so being fire roasted makes them highly acidic!

I'm sorry for your distress! Feel better soon!

The dried garlic and onion would give me problems - primarily gas and pain. I tend not to use store bought sauces. It is quite easy to make a homemade BBQ sauce that will last in the fridge for a considerable amount of time. It is the only way that I can contral exactly what the sauce contains.

Were the roasted tomatotes peeled? Tomatoe peels give me problems. I use pure tomatoe paste in sauces with no problems.

They were murrey organic can tomatoes. I eat fresh tomatoes every day. Maybe because they were cooked like kappy said? or the vinegar. Never tried the paste to scared since its cooked to would it be the same as the fire roasted? thanks
