Hello, I just got my gallbladder removed three weeks ago and they said it could help my IBS. Well it is not helping and now I am on Medicine and can hardly eat anything with out feeling like I want to throw up. I was wondering if anyone had a good diet to follow? Thanks.

Well, first, what kind of meds are you on, and what type of IBS are you? You might want to try the "what to eat when you can't eat anything" diet that is on this site. It should help you, somewhat.
Bland foods is probably the key to keeping the stomach quiet, at least until you get to feeling better again.
HTH... Let me know what type IBS you are and the meds! Maybe can give you some more help!

I had mine out about 8 years ago. I remember a recovery time of about 1-2 weeks. I was back to eating simple food in about a week, if I remember correctly.
Have you talked to your doc? Maybe give yourself a little more recovery time, and keep your eating simple for the time being.
