Diet for my daughter is getting so limited. Wondering if lean pork chops would be safe? Or is it just as hard to digest as beef?

I asked a similar question...if ham was safe, and the response I had received was if it has 4 legs leave it alone....so unfortunately no it would not be.

This is the link to read what foods are trigger foods for ibs'ers. Even the leanest of pork are still high in fat.

Pork and beef are bad for more than just fat. The meat tissues are hard to digest and slow down the gut, if you will. Avoid them. There are many other foods that are okay if you experiment and gather recipes.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
