Does anyone else have nausea and vomiting?

Hi! I am new and I've spent the last few days looking through old posts look for others who have this type of issue.
I've been using the diet for the last few months some relief. My system slows down with high stress and the bouts are triggered when I don't stick to the diet but I absolutly cannot eat anything once the nausea starts, diet foods or not. I have severe upper stomach pain and nausea that usually erupts into violent vomiting. I've been prone to passing out and lathargy (sp).
I did read a post of someone who has gastropan-something where the stomach doesn't push food into the intestine. This sounds more like what I go through.
Does anyone have the same issues? My doctor and I are still figuring out if I have IBS or something else since I don't suffer from C or D.
I will say that finding this site was a blessing. It's great (not that I want others to suffer) to see others who are dealing with the same type of issues as I am.
Thanks! Angie

Your symptoms don't sound like regular IBS symptoms. Have you seen a GI doctor?

Dr. A and I are best friends! lol I've had a boat-load of tests and nothing comes up. I was in the hospital a year ago but they found nothing. We did find that my birth control pills were making things worse so I switched as was good for a few months but it all started again last month.

Hmm without the D and C it's not IBS as per the Rome III standard guidelines for diagnosing IBS. Though some of the suggestions on this site may help.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I have nausea and vomiting when I ingest too much fructose. I follow the fructose restricted diet from the University of Iowa. Like you, I cannot eat anything once the nausea starts.
