A question about vegetable broth?

I was just wondering if vegetable broth was safe since it contains tomatoes? thanks emmasmom ibs-c gas

Should be fine unless tomatoes/acidic foods are personal triggers for you. There are no seeds or skin or anything, which I believe are the problems with tomatoes in their whole form.

no i eat fresh tomatoes everyday but like pizza and pasta sauce are a huge trigger for me. Is this the same or not? Is tomatoe paste ok?

maybe it's something else in the pizza/pasta sauce, like the oil content, or garlic or onions that's causing the problem? store-bought sauces have all sorts of potential triggers in them...

Canned/jarred tomato products are also incredibly more concentrated than fresh tomatoes and therefore much much more acidic.
Unfortunately, I don't think anyone is going to be able to tell you if broth will be a trigger for you, you're just going to have to try it. I would guess, unless the broth is thick and red, that the tomatoes are not very concentrated and shouldn't bother you as much as jarred sauce.
