Hi Everyone- Loooonnnnggg time IBS suffer. I have searched the all the boards already but thought I would just ask: What does everyone put on their pasta? I have had success w/lemon juice (sometimes too acidic) and " I Can't Believe it's Not Butter" spray, but wanted some new ideas. (Tomato sauce is a BIG no-no for me.)
Thoughts?

I often throw a handful of veggies in the pot when the pasta only has a few minutes left to cook - I've done peppers, onions, spinach, broccoli when I'm feeling especially adventurous. That cooks the veggies nice and soft. Then you can drain everything together. If you wanted to eat it cold like pasta salad, you could add lemon juice and/or salad dressing. I usually eat it hot with just garlic powder, sea salt, and pepper. If it looks a little dry, I'll add a tiny amount of olive oil to moisten it all up.
Yum! It's one of my standbys, especially when my husband isn't around and I'm just cooking for myself!

If you can do tomatos raw, dice up a few and add basil and garlic on top.If you can do cheese,it's good too.Ican't handle soy or rice cheese so I use reg.Everyone at our house likes this.
