I ran into a old friend from high school last night and we got to talking and he told me that hes has ibs-d and hes just tired of being sick so I told him about this site and the book and some tips but with me being c I really didin't have alot of advice. Could any of you with ibs-d give me some advice or tips I could pass along to him to get him started. Thanks

The best advice he could get you already gave him. Read this website, order the books, the tea, the acacia. It took about three weeks of the break the cycle diet to get the D to stop. (with a few fits and starts because I found out after trial and error that I am both soy and fructose intolerant as well as lactose). If I cheat on the diet I always pay and that is true even now after 9 months of being mostly stable. I eat a lot of organic food-buy it whenever I can. That helps a lot.

Ditto with Barb! SF is his best friend! Get him acquainted with this website, the EFI diet and have him start on the Acacia! Good luck to him
