I have been IBS-C for a few years at this point (stress switches me over to D in a big bad way) and have figured out what does and doesn't work for my diet. Sometimes I can have an 'episode' that makes absolutely no sense, but can generally be chalked up to issues with life, and not what I've been eating.
So, the huge issue I have right now is raw skin around my bum compounded with (what is most likely) a hemorrhoid. The raw skin has been an issue for about a month now and I cannot get it to heal.
The hemorrhoid... I haven't done anything about, yet.
Any thoughts, or help with either of these issues would be HUGELY appreciated. The hemorrhoid isn't a new issue for me (some trauma issues there) but the not-healing raw skin is.
THANKS!!!

Ok sounds gross but.....bag balm. Found at the drug store or hardware store. Works magic! Sounds weird but my husband uses it for dry skin and it works. I use it when I'm raw and itchy down there.. It is for cows udders but is antiseptic. If you are interested and can't find it email me and I will send you some. cgmcadams@hotmail.com

I have used a combo of ice (I know its weird but it works - one cube in a baggy before bed), Balneol (cleans the area and sooths) and Tucks cream.

I have the same problem, part hemorroid and part raw skin. My doctor prescribed Proctofoam and it worked great until it wears off, now I have an appt for hemorroid surgery, I've never gone through anything like this? It's not the hemorroid that hurts as much as the rawness...
