I love breakfast too --- I'm IBS-D so tough to say what really would work for your C, or what your system can really tolerate in general, but here's what I eat:
I start with two Citrucel tablets. Good SF. Soy milk works great for me, so I use Silk Vanilla. Love it. Rice Krispies only so-so for me, but Honeycomb, Corn Pops, and a cereal called Oatmeal Squares are all great. I do like oatmeal, so eat a fair bit throughout the week. I go with plain, and a little brown sugar on top. Occasionally mix in a bit of vanilla soymilk. Almost every morning I have a half or whole banana. Other things I tolerate: lowfat multigrain waffles with a drizzle of syrup; egg white on english muffin; bagels; pancakes made with soy milk / egg white; applesauce; banana bread (see Heather's recipe). I love bacon but haven't had it in two months - I believe there are good soy alternatives that I may try.
Check the recipe posts, or Heather's Eating for IBS book for great alternatives for breakfast foods. Remember a good SF supplement is great for C and D. With a good SF base, you may be able to have very small portions of things you "used" to eat that might be triggers now.
Best of luck...

i'm not sure what you can tolerate but i make a safe(for me) stuffed strawberyy banana french toast that i love. I just take a thick slice of bread, slice into the middle of it and stuff it with sliced bananas and small slices of strawberries, dip into a mixture of egg white and vanilla soy milk, and cook it in a pan with a little cooking spray...then I top it with powered sugar and enjoy

The only thing they contain that could be slightly temperamental is Glucose-Fructose syrup. I have no problems with them. It's the own brand types that tend to contain dairy. Why are they a no, no, for you?

Smoothies are good and you can blend in some soluble fiber powder to get a SF start for the day. But use 100% juice (no processed stuff), banana (for taste and consistency), the fruit you can tolerate and a good blender.
If you can tolerate granola, mix a little infor taste and crunch.

I know it can be frustrating, have you read all the guidelines, rice is fine, as is cocoa powder, coco pops don't contain actual chocolate. Why did you think you couldn't have them? x

Many products are marked with kosher symbols. If it has dairy in it, it will either have the Kosher symbol which could be a "K" or a "U" in a circle or someother symbols and then will list "Diary" "paerve" or neither. "Paerve" means no meat or mils so you know all those products have no dairy. It is on many, many products.
