Yes - I have been using Life Start for 6 weeks. Life Start 2 is not available in Canada.

There has been a noticeable reduction in all of my symptoms - particularly in the pain. This concurs with the results reported in the research literature. I did not notice any effects for the first 10-14 days and then slowly I noticed a change. First in the reduction of pain and later in the normalization of stool consistency, bloating and gas.

I take it each morning 1/2 hour before breakfast. I put 1/4 teaspoon of Life Start powder in a small amount of room temperature water. Also, I add a small amount of lactase enzyme from an lactase capsule to handle the lactose in the small amount of milk in Life Start. It is probably not needed.

I find Life Start to be an effective management tool for my IBS and much less expensive than Align. I give it a two thumbs up rating.
