acacia & interstitial cystitis

Do any of you that have used this product have IC? If so, did it cause a flare in the IC? Thanks.

I am using the Acacia fiber an do not notice any difference with my interstitial Cystitis. Thank goodness!

How long have you had interstitial cystitis? Are you in a flare currently? How bad are your symptoms?

I was officially diagnosed with IC approx 25 yrs ago but I feel I've had it much longer. When I started having symptoms dr's thought it was "all in my head". Finally a urologist looked in my bladder. If I was lucky I could make it 20 - 30 min between urinating, night & day. I researched & found the things that caused me to flare which seems like everything. Years later I was put on Neurontin for migraines & quite by accident I found it calmed my bladder. A blessing in disguise because back then there was nothing prescribed but Tums or baking soda. I'm sure that's more info than you wanted to know.
