anyone pass out/faint from colon pain

My IBS is made more complicated by having a vasovagal response to pain. When the cramps or spasms start I start getting nauseous, sweaty, then comes the fainting. Just wonder if any of you have this & how you handle it? Thanks.

I have never actually fainted but I have come very close. I get the nausea and the sweating along with the pain and cramping. In Heather's books she talks about passing out from the pain so I know it happens. The best thing you can do is learn to control this beast so you don't have the pain any more often than absolutely necessary!!

Thanks Barbara, I've thought over the last 30 yrs I had it under control then surprise, it's back again. This beast is hard to handle.
