Heather -- I've had IBS-d for the last 20 years. I have been using your acacia tummy fiber for the last couple of months and I cannot begin to express how much this has helped me! I literally had not had a normal, formed movement in 20 years and now, nearly every day (besides still always getting D during my cycles and some random days here and there)I am normal. My question to you, or anybody out there is, having had IBS-D for so long, I really don't know what is truely normal. I am still having the urgency feelings, although, no D, but I still need to get to the loo ASAP. Is there a way to minimize this? I am taking 18 to 24 grams of fiber a day (mostly 18). Thanks for your help and I will never stop taking your fiber -- it has worked wonders for me! Thank You

I'm so glad you're doing so much better.
For me it just took time on Heather's diet and Acacia for the urgency to gradually subside. (Here's an old post I did describing my path.) In the meantime, you can try using Imodium to help with both the frequency and the urgency. Some people take a tablet or half a tablet every day as a preventive measure.
HTH.
