Yoga, for some reason, makes me frustrated. I'm looking for something not too straining (like Tae-Bo), but something that can help with the bloating. What works for you? I'd like to lose weight, but right now I'm more worried about getting stable. thanks!

Water exercise is fun. I used to go with my mother and my mother in law. You jump around, turning, twisting, raising your arms up and down, running in the water. It is not hard on joints and you use your own weight as resitance. I should start again.

My personal favorites are swimming and walking. I know my dog likes the walking too! BTW, I can't stand yoga either.

I second the water!! I go to aquabics twice a week, and I also do yoga. Because of limitations due to foot surgery, I can't wear runners. I used to do a low impact fitness class called BLT - Bums, legs and tummy! It was also excellent for toning and destressing.

Walking! It's my favorite exercise for IBS and it's great for weight loss, too! I lost weight just from walking 4 times a week for 1-1.5 h. Besides walking I also run, rollerblade, and ski. I like love these sports but they doesn't seem to benefit my IBS as well as walking.

I have combined the diet here with the Weight Watchers Flex Plan. I have been on WWs for several years. Fortunately I have always liked oatmeal which is the food I eat most often now.
I do the Leslie Sansone workout DVDs. Check out lesliesansone.com. I also love to walk outside when the temp is above freezing!

I use an elliptical 6 days a week for my cardio, since I have feet and knee problems it's much more comfortable than walking for me. Daily exercise makes me feel so much better. I DVR TV programs I don't have time to watch in the evenings so I can enjoy them while I workout in the afternoon. I hope you find something you enjoy.
