Are they the same thing? Can they both be used in baking?

I think eggbeaters adds things to their product. I don't use them. I use Eggology instead. Egg sub. because they are only the egg whites and stay good for 3 months even after opened.
You can cook/bake with eggbeaters if you want though.

Egg beaters "is made with 99% eggs — but only the best part — the whites. The other 1% consists of vitamins and other nutrients usually lost when the yolk is removed. Egg Beaters Original have no artificial flavors, preservatives or colors"

You can also buy Just Whites and you don't have to crack the eggs and throw out the yolks.
-------------------- IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
