Confused about Quaker Oatmeal squares??

Hello I am new and have been following EFI diet a month or so now. I have been reading some of your posts and I notice people have said snacking or breakfast with Quaker Oatmeal squares (brown sugar). Well I got them over the weekend and they are yummy! So I had a few for a snack Mon and Tuesday at work with no milk. And the last 2 nights I have been having horrible gas and gas pains. So I decided to look at the box this morning. Here's were I am confused?? The first ingredient is oat flour and the next is WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR. I thought we were supposed to stay away from that?? so what are you guys eating with that to make it more tolerable.

I mix it 1:1 with Rice Chex and eat it with rice milk and never have problems with it.

Personally, I don't avoid wheat and I eat it every chance I get. But, that's because it doesn't give me problems. Wheat is a very important nutrient. I read once that if we ate whole wheat products all the time we would never get cancer.
