I ate a slice of pickle 2 days in the row and I've been suffering from terrible stabbing pain and cramps that wake me up. What is in the pickle that could be bothering me, vinegar? Does anyone else have this problem? Please help, I need some flavor in my diet! I don't get sick when I eat really boring food but I need flavor or I loose all interest in food.

I have never met an evil pickle

However, some sweet pickles contain HFCS. What are the ingredients in your pickles?

I don't have a problem with HFCS because I can eat cool whip that has lots of it in it and I never get sick.

Sorry, I am not at home so I can't really tell what else is in them, but very little because they're organic. I can look it up later.

I haven't had any problems with pickles or vinegar. I once, accidentally, bought pickles that had Splenda in them! They tasted disgusting, so I didn't eat more than a bite. Like Syl said, double-check the ingredients. If ingredients look fine you might want to consider something else causing the pain. Where is it exactly?

It's a stabbing pain in lower stomach plus cramps. I get that when I eat something wrong.

If there is nothing unusual in the pickles then it could be the IF in the skins.

Organic Kosher Pickle spears from Trader Joes: cucumbers, water, organic vinegar, salt, dehydrated organic garlic, calcium chloride, natural flavors, organic turmeric (color)

Can anyone see anything odd?
