exercise has always made me feel better because it relaxes you and it also relieves stress

I don't think so but sometimes I did feel worse right after exercising. However, I think it's got to do more with the fact that I used to exercise at night and I get more bloated at night anyway.

With me it depends on what type of exercise. Swimming or yoga, light cardio or strength training is more relaxing and actually helps. However, I have a trainer and when he really pushes me sometimes I get really bad spasms and pain although no D. Also it depends what else is going on (diet other anxiety, etc.). You just have to know your body. Good luck to you.

This whole ibs thing is only 2 weeks for me but it started after 1 month of strenous situps on a daily basis......not sure if there is a connection BUT Im a big runner...long distance and usually have great BMs after a run...so I think its a good thing......i just came back from a 9 mile run and im my 2nd day of citrucel and probiotics and not even an inkling of BM...i wonder whats going on???

Exercise irritates my knee so I am just glad that I am still able to walk.
