I have had a craving for chocolate bars lately. Chocolate cakes or chocolate soy milk won't do the thing. Is dark chocolate safe? Does it have caffeine or dairy?

All chocolate has caffeine but the good news is that lots of us can tolerate choc. in small amounts.
As for dairy - check the label. Quality chocolate should not have dairy as it should be made only with cocoa butter. Cheap chocolate producers add milk, milk fat, and lactose since these are cheaper than chocolate butter. I can recommend Lindt 70% chocolate, it's dairy free and so good .

I eat 2 squares of dark chocolate almost every day and I'm fine. I eat 70% cocoa dark chocolate from Trader Joes and it's very low in sugar/fat, about 3 grams. It has a grey packaging and cost 2 bucks.

Get well.
Tatyana.
