I mix my daily dosage in my bottled water, which I do not refrigerate since drinking cold liquids is not supposed to be good for your tummy, I only mix enough to drink a day at a time, so if I am leaving this water mixed with the Acacia on my desk or kitchen counter and drinking it throughout the day, I'm not getting sick from the Acacia not being refrigerated am I? Does is have to be once it is mixed in water? Thanks

I am not Heather but I can tell you that I will leave Acacia in a bottled water container and drink it througout the day and it is not refrigerated. I have never read anywhere that says it is perishable. Heather suggest using it in cooking all the time and that would be in her breads, cakes etc, and those things I leave out (unless made with soy milk). So i don't believe that would be a problem for you.

I don't think you can get sick from soluble fiber powder, no matter how long it sits.
