I re-read the post on safe quick snacks and realized how few things on the list were actually "healthy"- Does anyone have any quick tips for snacks they've eaten that incorporate fruits and/or veggies that are "safe"?

I've been eating some 'healthy' snacks lately:
Fruit: applesauce, banana, papaya, mango Vegetables: beets, carrots, mushrooms dipped in a bit of hummus, butternut squash soup, roasted zucchini (cut lengthwise into 4-6 pieces, sprinkle some herbs and broil in the oven) Nuts: chestnuts are safe and tasty, other nuts I eat with an sf source listed above Other: soy yogurt with blueberries, almond milk

Thanks for these suggestions- it's exactly what I was looking for. I think I'll mix some bananas and blueberries for a snack as well as do the hummus and carrots.
I wish mango and papaya weren't so darn messy to deal with!
