So apparently we are supposed to be able to eat baked potato chips right? Does this mean Baked Lay's? I also wondered about Low Fat Baked Tostitos and if we could could have homemade salsa with it?

Carrie, have you ever tried baked Lay's? YUK! I'd rather do without.

Your posts are already bold to us, just not to you (so you don't need the in the title). I love the Baked Lays, but potatoes don't sit too well with me. Salsa is personal, some can tolerate it, some can't.

Baked Tostitos, Guiltless Gourmet Baked Corn Chips, and now Kettle Chips come in a baked variety (Bev, these taste like regular chips - you might like them better than the Lays).
If you get a flavored variety, check the ingredients to make sure there isn't any dairy in there.
And yes, homemade salas (and guacamole) are good dips to go with the chips. There are quite a few recipes in the Recipe Exchange.

The new Kettle Chips that are baked are called Kettle Krisps - and they are REALLY yummy!

Hi Carrie,
Yes, before my IBS symptoms worsened I was a BBQ Baked Lays Queen! However, things have changed. If I eat more than 5 or so, they trigger an attack. It's one of those personal trial and error food items. I hope it works for you. I just stick with any lowfat tortilla chips and I'm always safe!

I love the Baked lays as well but, they do seem to cause me some problems. It may be potatoes in general, I'm not sure.

Pringles? OHMIGOD, I'm so addicted to those, I can't stop eating them once I start. The low-fat variety. A whole can even. I just can't start. I used to be able to get "Veggie Stix" that are mostly all air but are incredible. I can't get them anymore and it's just as well 'cause they cost $5/bag! I think I'm just better off doing without. Same here, Mags! I'm perfectly happy eating Baked Lays instead of regular greasy chips!
