Recently when something affects me, I have a stomach ache or I have gas, i have much more pain and more gas on the right side of my lower stomach. Is this normal? Is there something that I can do to help relieve the pressure?
Thank you

Mine is mostly on my left side, which I think is more common. But since the lower intestine goes along both sides, right side pain is probably common too.
A hot pad helps me, but only temporarily. I just lay it across my abdomen. After I take it off, the gas and pain usually return. It does give some relief though.

Hi, I have always had brutal stomach cramps and pain in my abdomen on one or both sides, have only ever found relief from just waiting it out till a BM or at least passing wind. Sometimes it is totally crippling like I can't stand up straight and lying down flat will usually bring some relief till I have to get up again!! Also sometimes putting heavy pressure on my abdomen seems to give me a break but very very temporary. Anyway; since following these diet guidelines the pain is gone or very, very dull; but if I slip up and eat anything slightly complicated, it's back, instantly. So - yeah - I can't offer any solutions except a strict diet.
