I'm looking for a good low-fat peanut butter. I noticed that Trader Joe's sells Better n' Peanut Butter. It has only 2.5 grams of fat. Anybody tried it? Here's a link: http://www.betternpeanutbutter.com/

I've never tried that brand before. My favorite is Skippy Natural. Doesn't have to be refrigerated and stirred like most "natural" PBs. I still don't eat a lot at once, though... usually just a light spread on a hunk of French bread. Don't know what the fat content is, so it may not be what you're looking for, but I love it!

I've tried it. But it contains soy flour....and soy doesn't sit well with me (gas, bloat). So I stopped and eat regular almond butter, YUM.

Hello. I have never tried Better n' Peanut Butter. I use Smuckers Natural PB, and I drain off the oil before using it. It is a little dry and difficult to spread, but you get the great peanut taste with much less fat. I still use sparingly. Good luck!

What a great idea--draining off the oil! I'll try that. Thx!

I also dump out the oil when I buy natural PB. Since it tends to harden a little from being refrigerated, I remove the lid and heat it up in the microwave for ~20 seconds. That makes it way more spreadable!

Hi...glad to help. Be ready for a little tough time spreading it though. I love pb so much that it is worth it. I smoosh some cherry jelly into it and it makes it a bit easier. I don't know what the fat content is, but it has to be much lower that with the oil.
