I took one tablet a day. The first day it was great. The second day I had a hint of peppermint taste. The third day I had heartburn. I don't get heartburn! Drat. I was hoping these would work. Anyone have an alternate suggestion?

Same thing happened to me. However, I then did two tablets on a gently filled stomach with rice checks. Then, instead of downing water, I drink peppermint tea. I then stayed low for it all to soak around for about one half hour. The pain and everything greatly decreased. Although it did not go away, at least it gave me some relief. Try it, and I hope it works! Time

I have almost the same problem as you. She says to take it with as little water as possible because even though it is enteric coated, water will dissolve the coating. I have had days where my stomach just burns because the capsule must have dissolved there instead of in my intestine, other days it is ok.
If you are taking this for gas/bloating, have you tried Fennel Seed capsules? These work really good for me. I also drink alot of peppermint tea.

how often do you take the fennel seed caps? I have been taking peppermint caps for over a month now and they have not helped the gas at all
